First thing, I don't know if the font is available freeware but it's a good=
=20
idea to buy the font so you can get the whole font family (bold, italic,=20
etc). Freeware fonts are often incomplete. To install it you go to your=20
font folder in Windows Explorer and open it. Then go to File>Install New=20
Font and select the font you downloaded. It should be a True Type font and=
=20
have the .ttf extension. Once it's installed there it will be available to=
=20
all your apps.

That shouldn't cause any problem.

You shouldn't have a problem opening Mac created Illustrator files in=20
Illustrator for Windows. FreeHand should will them as well as long as they=
=20
are saved in Illustrator 8.0 format and below if you have FreeHand 9 of=20
course. For FreeHand versions earlier than 9 she'll have to save in=20
Illustrator 7.0 or earlier. Photoshop will also open Illustrator files but=
=20
will rasterize them. It will ask you for a resolution and other details.=20
Choose a pretty high resolution. You can down sample it later. I don't=20
think you'll be able to open Quark files without Quark installed on your=20
machine though. As for the extensions not showing up, I think your client=
=20
could zip up the files before sending them (using Stuffit) and the Windows=
=20
version of Stuffit Expander is free=20
(http://www.aladdinsys.com/expander/). I'm not sure this will solve the=20
problem but I think I read that it would somewhere...
