.PCD file not opening

I have a CD with a bunch of .PCD files that I cannot get to open in 
Photoshop 7.  I am assuming these are Kodak Photo CD files (it's a CD-R 
disk from a client) and I have the latest PCD plug-in, but I get an error 
message when I try to open one.  MS Picture It can't open it either  Is 
there a standalone viewer for .PCD files or something that will tell the 
files are corrupted?
