Screen saver software

Hey all,  

   Does anyone know where I can get *good* screen saver software that will
allow me to design screensavers and export them so others can use them?  The
only program I found like this was *very* expensive.  I need a flexible
freeware/shareware/really darn cheap program that will allow me to do that.
Any thoughts?
