The best way to save files for a portfolio is to print your site to PDF.  That
way, you can let your clients view it online (a little more impressive than
paper in this business, I think).

  I have done four web pages for clients, with the hope of being able to
use them as a reference of my work, but not two weeks after completing
the pages for my clients, they went in there and immediately started
moving things around, and changing this and touching that....geez! I
even had one person with the gall to call me after the damage was done,
ask me to fix it, and then got mad when I told her that I wouldn't be
able to be there for her as quickly as she wanted me (The truth was,
that she had taken up so much of my time that I just couldn't handle it

  What am I supposed to do here? Have a disclaimer saying that the pages
looked great at one time, but due to unforeseen circumstances - namely,
people who have no idea of what they're doing - the pages are not
representative of the designer?
   I'm not great at this stuff...I'm new to it, and surprised at how
quickly I catch on. But I'm a lot better than what has happened here,
and now I can't even use them.
Any suggestions? Is there something legal I can do?  And really, after
all is said and done, isn't this the biggest reason why people sell
template sites?
