Had a lot of great suggestions, some I had tried, some I hadn't.  Wouldn't you
think this would be an obvious feature PhotoShop would have included in 5.0!

You all are a wonderful resource to have.  And the quick response was great!

	Actually what I do instead of modifying the borders of selections is
have
	the selection ready, be in a new layer, and then use the Edit -> Stroke
tool.
	You have three options. To make the outside of the selection get stroked
	X number of pixels, the center of the selection, or the inside (the
inside
	usually works best). I found the quality of the inner strokes to be much
	better than modified selections. It's worth a try.
