I've been using FrontPage since it came out.  It is a great product for someone
who knows nothing about coding and simply wants to do basic pages without a lot
of design.  The HTML code in 97 version is a bear to edit (I think MS
intentionally made it look more difficult than it is so people would think they
had to have a package to do HTML!  The '98 version does a LOT better on that
end, and allows all the basic editing functions (like a search/replace, etc
which 97 didn't have).  I think you can pick up the '98 version for around $80.
For most things, it's a good tool,  but no matter what ole Bill says, it screws
up Java script....add that by hand and don't edit the file in FrontPage after
you do!
