The only problem I see with changing the graphic text to just plain HTML
is that her spacing would suffer, and there is really no way to make a set
size table cell with text in it and expect the text to look "in place" on
both a PC and a Mac.  The Mac font in Netscape is set much smaller by
default than a PC font.. or at least they appear smaller on the screen,
so users with the default settings on both machines will see two totally
separate pages, with one version appearing correctly and the other badly
mis-rendered.  I had the same problem on aristomachines.com.  The customer
wanted the page to lay out exactly like their brochure on every browser, 
on every platform.. The only solution I could find was to make it all a
collection of graphics.  Very annoying.

Well, everyone who would be looking at the page should know that the
HH100 is a bike race.  It's one of the biggest bike races in the world,
and "everyone" knows what it is.. or at least everyone that would consider
riding in it.. 100 miles in the 100+ Texas sun.. whew! ;)
