In a message dated 98-10-08 20:44:48 EDT, you write: > One thing I haven't found tutorials on is how to make bars >and lines with rounded ends. > I'm trying to find or make the shape of an arrow There are several ways of making shapes. Using "clipart" as templates, wingdings, or other types of text. In the last ten minutes I put together a tutorial of sorts, on how to easily create bars and arrows using plain ol' keystrokes. (The "select" tool was used once...) See: http://members.aol.com/opus9979/temp/ Its a couple of graphics showing step by step building of a gold bar with rounded ends, and a "back" arrow button. Using the characters; o __ __ < l and the tools; select drop shadow buttonize flood fill (with sunburst gradient) Again, this took me ten minutes. Much cleaner and cooler looking shapes can be made with more time and attention to detail. Wingdings and clipart often provide an excellent starting point for images like these, but if those can't be found rest assured they can be put together with the simplest of tools. Good luck, EA shdowrks(at)aol.com http://members.aol.com/opus9979/temp/
