Well I just had to try it.

Running 4.7 I went to a website and captured a .jpg and a .bmp with the
right-click. It automatically knew what the picture was and came up with the
name I had given the file, as well as the correct file definition.

Running 5.000.2 it did the exact same thing and knew which format to assign
to the picture as well as pulling up the name I had given to the graphics.

I also concurrently run Netscape and IE and have for years. Occassionally
the browers forget who is my default, but compared to other windows glitches
- it really isn't a big deal. 

I have to have both browsers up and running to test web pages. I used to
also run Opera - but had some "opera"tor problems with that one!
