I checked your page in IE3, IE4, NN3, and NN4.  You're right that the GIF is
slightly slower in NN3 & 4, but I think the difference is negligible.  If I
hadn't actually compared the browsers side-by-side, I would never have
noticed.  Don't worry about it.
