The site must be good, going by the people's response! But that is all I
can say. For it is frustrating to find so many plugins *NOT* available
for most of the unix platforms (mine, at work, is SunOs/SunSolaris). It
is really discouraging.

Web never used to be so *difficult* to surf!

So many times I have seen detailed and long discussions (for example,) on
the optimum resolution for which a site should be designed, and other
such things (which are about making a site accessible by *all*), but
there is hardly a discussion found on *avoiding* the use of specific
applications which require plugins which plenty of people wouldn't
have--mostly the unix people.

Is the Web designed for PC's and Mac's only?? At least, this is the
feeling I have got, observing the list over the time. (Why? Because there
are no names of graphics programs for unix appearing in the list
discussions--like ImageMagick, xv, GIMP, to name a few--GIMP considered
the closest ever to Photoshop, and are absolutely FREE!)

Sorry, if this is off topic. Just an outburst of a unix lover. Nothing
personal!
