This is the only one I checked out, but personally, yes, 68K is much too
large for that animation. You should try converting each frame to 16
colors (or your animation program might have the option to do that) before
creating the animation. That should save considerable space.
For instance, I took your animation into Ulead's GIF Animator and using a
3 bit pallette (8 color) Reduced it from 69,900 to 35,811 bytes. Granted,
there was quality loss, but when you are dealing with so many frames of
such a size, you must choose either quality or size. I think 8 colors was
an acceptable loss in quality for halving the size of the image (although
35K is still too big)
