That would help, but it still won't let him get the graphic to the top of
the page.

The problem stems from the fact that all browsers don't use the same
"working area" to display the page.  Netscape uses a set number of pixels
on the left and top as a margin (I don't know the exact number, prolly
right around 5).  Internet Explorer also has margins, but you have total
control over how many pixels the top/left margins are (I forget the code
for this, as I never thought it important :)

To make things even more confusing, Netscape does not use the same margins
on both PC and Mac, so a page that lines up perfectly on a PC won't look
right on a Mac.. and vice versa.  The simplest solution is to not use a
layout that depends on the background and foreground matching up exactly.

(One page I started to make for a friend before I found all this out had a
background that consisted of the stone "Mortal Kombat" dragon emblem from
the cover of the "Mortal Kombat" soundtrack.  The dragon was repeated in
the background very subdued so it wouldn't interfere with the text.. then
a high-res version of it was overlayed over the first occurance of the
background image.. a VERY cool effect.. but didn't work in all browsers,
so I had to scrap the idea)
