Type: Contract 
Location: Phoenix, Az 
Position(s): Web Designer, Jr. Web Designer 
Company: p@lmtek, inc. A start-up design firm with great prospects. 
Looking at several large projects in the near future. 
Hours/length: hours are varied, but approximately 10 + hours a 
week...Length is indefinite.

Candidates for Jr. Web Designer should have: 
1 - 2 years of web site design experience. 
STRONG knowledge of HTML 4.0 with exceptional skills in tables, frames and 
forms. Experience using a text editor (such as Homesite or Notepad). 
Familiarity with both Unix and NT web servers for uploading files and 
installing cgi scripts. 
Ability to install and configure java, javascript, and simple cgi scripts 
(such as formmail).

Candidates for Web Designer should have: 
2+ years of web site design experience. 
STRONG knowledge of HTML 4.0 with exceptional skills in tables, frames and 
forms. 
Knowledge of Javascript and Cascading Style Sheets. 
Experience using a text editor (such as Homesite or Notepad) 
Familiarity with both Unix and NT web servers for uploading files and 
installing cgi scripts. 
Ability to install java, javascript and complicated cgi scripts (such as 
databases, bbs's, search engines) 
Interface design and layout 
Excellent Graphic design skills 
Creativity and Ingenuity 
Ability to take a project from concept to completion. 
Extras: Knowledge of Flash, dHTML, perl or other skills would be appreciated.

Education: 
Degrees are appreciated, but not necessary. Classes and Certifications are 
encouraged. Experience and talent can speek for themselves and carry more 
weight than pieces of paper.
