Web Developer/Designer: New York City 
Current legal status to work in US is required 
Physical presence in our NYC office full-time is required.

Responsibilities: 

Design and produce graphic images for the web, web pages, and mini-sites. 
Produce graphic elements by scanning, manipulating, retouching and 
optimizing digital image files, and creating original artwork. Create 
animations. Develop user interfaces and web navigational architecture. 
Participate in brainstorming and concept development sessions. Work with 
multi-departmental colleagues, including marketing, editorial, and IT staff 
to assure effective development, scheduling, and work flow for new features 
and promotions. Participate in team process of brainstorming and 
developing innovative content and marketing initiatives. Manage 
freelancers and special projects as required. 

Qualifications: 

Bachelor �s degree required; five years of relevant experience required. 
Strong project management skills. Experience managing freelancers (other 
artists and designers, copywriters, programmers). Must be expert at 
Photoshop, llustrator, ImageReady or Fireworks. Must understand web color 
palette issues. Must have excellent understanding of both Mac and PC 
platforms. Excellent written and verbal communication skills a must. 
Previous web experience, knowledge of new technologies and internet market 
trends/developments are imperative. Must be well-organized and a team 
player.
