RFP:

Seeking a Web Designer for a one time/one site contract.

This site is to promote the online sale of computer software 
and hardware.

Full-blown e-commerce (shopping cart, real time payment processing etc...)

Approximately 10,000 items 
(products images will be provided to developer on CD's in 300 dpi CMYK TIFF 
format, developer will perform the necessary conversion and web optimization)

The site should have the ability to set up user accounts were the user may 
track and check the status of their current order(s) and/or change user 
information (address, contact, Credit Card info etc...)

Administrative modules are desired that can facilitate the administration 
of the product line by an "average" user. In other words we would like 
to be able to add, subtract or change the info in the product line database 
with out the use of a professional developer.

Developer will also provide and/or recommend a hosting service that will 
provide the necessary functionality to keep the site running strong, reliably 
and efficiently. We prefer a UNIX solution but are not married to the idea.

Design is of the utmost importance, we would like a clean, functional, easy 
to navigate site with professional layouts and graphics that will capture 
the visitors and aid them in engaging in the goals of our site.

In addition please provide a marketing strategy and copies of your design 
and hosting contracts.
