This Pre-IPO company is a business-to-business vertical solution portal for
food related industries. This portal is designed to provide, via ASP
services, smaller food retailing chains with key information that would
normally be too expensive for them to self-produce. The portal is also
designed to facilitate a digital trading community linking suppliers,
retailers and consumers. By recognizing the value that timely and detailed
information has to both retailers and suppliers and the added value of
linking the consumer to both entities, the Company expects to capitalize on
the forthcoming transformation of the food industry supply chain.

Scope and Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Senior Vice President & General Manager, the Webmaster
assists in the planning, implementation and evaluation of the web site by
providing strategic input to and managing the delivery of planned
communications services. Such assistance includes, but is not limited to:
preparing strategic and operational plans, coordinating the process of
adding and updating information to the sites, liaising with various client
groups, managing and analyzing user feedback, chairing and coordinating
advisory committees, promoting the site, and evaluating effectiveness of the
site as a cost-effective communications vehicle. The Webmaster effectively
acts as gatekeeper, managing information coming from all sources.

Experience:

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3+ years of successful
software/web development experience within the internet, retail food or
software technology environments with increasing technical or development
management responsibility.

Compensation:
$80,000-$100,000
