Marketing Communications Manager

Major Responsibilities:

The major responsibilities of this position will include recommending print 
media buys, managing third party agencies to design and implement print 
advertising campaigns and creating interactive media marketing tools.

Will be responsible for creating/developing the content of all company 
communications to include newsletters, brochures, web pages, collateral, 
company backgrounders, stakeholder documents, broadcast media and other 
promotional materials. Will write, and edit all company communications and 
also,  manage third party agencies for the design and development of 
marketing collateral and online media campaigns.    Will define and 
maintain offline customer acquisition promotions, vertical market 
penetration plans, and premium selections.

Will research, analyze and select all opportunities for company presence to 
include sponsorships, trade shows, other exhibition and education 
events.  Will manage these events, contract all required services and 
staff, coordinate with Public Relations and create all related advertising, 
promotions and premiums as needed.



Minimum requirements:

* 4 +years experience in marketing communications role.
* 4+ years of experience designing and implementing print advertising 
campaigns including 1 year of experience purchasing print media, and 1 year 
of promotion creation and maintenance experience.
* Print process experience, market analysis and the creation of penetration 
plans.
* Creation of interactive media collateral.
* 1+ year experience working within a high-tech environment.
* 1+ year of experience managing third party agencies such as fulfillment 
houses, and creative agencies.
* Excellent knowledge of the Internet including communities, online 
referral programs and computer industries

Preferred experience:

* 1+ year(s) dot.com experience is strongly preferred.
* International experience is a plus.
* Team leadership experience is a plus.

Required Skills

* Must be proficient in MS Office Suite of products and the Internet.
* Ability to multi-task, be highly organized and detailed.
* Independent and self-starter.
* Strong writing and editing skills.
* Very strong writing and grammar skills.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, 
Computer Science or Engineering or the equivalent is required.  A M.B.A. 
degree is preferred.

Travel:      20% worldwide.
