F/TIME: New Media Faculty - Evanston, IL

The Medill School of Journalism, where I joined the faculty in January after
nine years at The Miami Herald (the last four as new media director), is
seeking new faculty members with expertise in new media.

This is a great chance to teach at one of the nation's premier journalism
schools (great students, great faculty, great university) and one where
faculty with real working experience are valued as highly as those with
advanced degrees. Besides teaching, this is a great place to learn -- the
university has strong programs in computer science, multimedia arts and
more. We'll be breaking ground soon on a new building to house Medill's
programs in broadcast journalism, new media and integrated marketing
communications. It probably goes without saying, but I'll add anyway:
Chicago is one of the nation's great cities.
