Responsibilities
Oversee the development and production of a large, complex web site. Serve as
point person interfacing between business leaders, marketers, editors, 
technical
developers, creative staff, coders, freelancers, and outside agencies.
Establish project goals and maintain quality and direction until completion.
Ensure integrity of ongoing site production process and consistent user
experience. Manage resource allocation, schedules, and project life cycles.
Oversee documentation such project tracking and status, information
architecture, feature sets, functional specifications, and contracts. Manage
flow of information between businesses and development teams. Maintain a
comprehensive understanding of corporate objectives and design requirements.
Must be HTML expert with experience developing and launching major web sites.
Brainstorm and implement new initiatives. Work a strategic partner in a 
dynamic
team to achieve successful, top-tier online businesses.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and five years relevant experience required. The candidate
must have a strong understanding of online development and implementation,
including technical, creative and marketing strategies. Strong 
communication and
presentation skills required. Must be capable of motivating and coordinating
production schedules. Candidate should be a high-energy, team player with
experience creating complex Internet e-commerce implementations and managing
to budget. Ability to lead and supervise a team, delegate responsibilities 
to internal
and external resources. Must be well-versed in HTML, site production and 
publishing
technologies, and web site quality assurance. Applicant must be 
detail-oriented and
able to meet deadlines. Must be dedicated to a collaborative team culture, 
and to the
enrichment and advancement of all members of the development and business 
team.
Experience in publishing, direct marketing, Internet business environments 
a plus.
