PeopleSource, Inc is a Recruitment firm specializing in consulting and
permanent staffing services in the areas of Information Technology and
Finance / Accounting.

We are currently looking for a full-time Webmaster / Manager for one of our
clients located in Stamford, CT. This is a key position responsible for the
implementation of business-critical Web-based applications. This will entail
working interdepartmentally with Marketing, Sales and IT to implement
features and functionality on the corporate Web site. In addition, you will
be accountable for applying technical knowledge to lead fundamental site
infrastructure upgrades with respect to budget and timing considerations.
Manage a team of developers that are a blend of in-house and freelanced
talent. Build and maintain a secured intranet for corporate-wide use. Will
also be responsible for vendor relationship management and negotiation.
Current environment utilizes HTML, UNIX, NT, Oracle, Lotus Notes,
Javascript, CGI, streaming-media, FTP front-end programs (for file transfers
to servers).

Candidates need 2-3 years minimum experience as Webmaster or similar role
with commensurate responsibility. A background or understanding of database
development and management. Strong programming and development skills 
across platforms. Experience with managing a corporate Web Site budget. 
Strong communication skills to be used in a variety of technical and 
non-technical
situations. Demonstrated understanding of the Internet and emerging
opportunities and technologies.
