Responsibilities:

Set short and long term technology strategy Plan and manage entire 
technology infrastructure and architecture Build, grow and support a 
scaleable technology architecture for a high volume site with substantial 
real-time information and data processing complexity. Manage large 
technology projects as well as a large technology team Mange outside 
vendors, including technology service vendors as well as development 
consultants and programmers Set up and manage reporting systems Ensure 
overall security of site

Qualifications:

Strong leadership skills Strong project management skills Previous 
experience in the Internet and with scalability and security issues 
Knowledge of and experience with major web technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, 
HTML, XML, TCL, and Java), operating systems (Windows NT, UNIX), and 
database systems (SQL, Oracle) Strong Communication Skills Graduate level 
education in a technology field and significant experience (5 years or 
more) in technology development with particular focus on Internet technology

You will work with all other company departments and report directly to the
