The Capital Group Companies, Inc./American Funds is seeking full-time,
experienced writers to work in our downtown Los Angeles office for our
www.americanfunds.com and www.yourretirementresource.com web sites.

The Capital Group is one of the most experienced and successful global
investment firms in the world.  For over 65 years, our organization has been
privileged to serve an international group of investors, which currently
comprises millions of individuals and hundreds of leading corporations and
institutions.

We are looking for writers who can contribute content and versatility to 
our web
sites and develop more interactive elements for the site, such as calculators,
games, etc.  Our writing is aimed at better informing our web site viewers and
readers about investing and as a result, encouraging them to consider the value
of investing in our product.

Qualified candidates should be proven writers who understand the investment
business and write concisely and creatively for both shareholder (neophyte) and
broker (expert)  audiences.  The positions require a background in mutual 
funds,
retirement plan business and personal finance, or at a minimum, a knowledge of
financial services.  Project management experience is preferred, and experience
working in a team-oriented environment is an advantage.
