Client:  Pharmaceutical Industry
Job Location:  Princeton, NJ
Length of assignment:  perm/FT

Client seeks a Senior Java Developer. Must have a MS plus 10 years of
experience, or a Ph.D. with 4 years experience.  Will be responsible for
designing, developing and documenting a variety of applications in the
Discovery Research environment, particularly to manage biological and
chemical data.  The environment includes UNIX operating systems and
Java/VB/WindowsNT for development.  The central database system is Oracle
and a major initiative involves the access to multi-site Oracle databases
via a variety of client-server and distributed applications.  Current
initiatives include implementing an object-oriented biological data
management system utilizing Weblogic and an EJB environment.

Must have project management, knowledge of systems development life cycle,
good communication and presentation skills, and database design and
architecture experience.  The ability to interface with research scientists
and a scientific background would be a plus.
