Lead Web Developer, Full-time opportunity, Seattle, WA., local candidates 
preferred.

Real Networks (www.realnetworks.com) is seeking a highly motivated 
individual to serve as the Lead Web Application developer for the Customer 
Acquisition Services team. This team is part of our Consumer Systems 
Division, which is responsible for all of the e-commerce and related 
subscription services associated with our RealOne Platform.  Requirements 
include: Ability to manage a team of currently five developers focused on 
the design, architecture, development systems for Internet and Intranet 
Web-based applications, and Unix tool-sets for eCommerce Systems. This 
management position entails ownership for application design, 
specification, and hands on development. Typical projects involve the 
development of order systems to satisfy specific stakeholder needs. Most 
applications require the development of front-end display code in parallel 
with database integration.  This position will write and conduct reviews of 
Web application designs and specification documents.  Qualifications 
include strong working knowledge of Java, JSP, HTML, C++, and SQL database 
development in addition to PL/SQL and PHP. This Candidate must be creative, 
have strong problem solving ability, good verbal and written communication 
skills as well as experience managing development personnel and large 
development projects. Requires 5-8 years web development experience, 1-3 
years eCommerce applications experience, a BS or MS in Math, EE, or 
Computer Science.  Team leadership experience required, any experience with 
web automation systems development a plus.
