Yes, it can be done(as somebody already said). However, wouldn't it be
easier(wiser?) to make a "liquid" page instead? Even if you find out
what resolution is used, you don't know the size of the browser. A lot
of people resize their browser window. In this case the "liquid" page
would resize automatically to the browser size. IMHO it's a step closer
to the "foolproof" solution.
