I assume you are using VBScript as your language. If you want to know the
'how to's ' of VBScript get a VBScript book, however if you want an ASP book
get Wrox Press Professional ASP 3.0
I've read Professional ASP 2.0, so my guess is 3.0 can only be better. There
are some books that cover both ASP & a scripting language / languages & even
SQL, perhaps a good choice for a person who knows next to nothing of the
web, but usually such books promise the earth and deliver little.

Subject: ASP Book
| I need to buy one super book on ASP. I'm not a complete beginner, so a
| reference of statements, variables, etc. would be appreciated along with
any
| "how to" stuff. For example, right now I need to know how to construct an
| if/then using "or". Do I use "or" or a pipe? Two pipes? Yes, I know I can
| look it up on the web (what I will be doing right after I send this mail)
| but I'd like a handy reference on my desk (something akin to O'Reilly's
| "Javascript: The Definitive Guide").
|
| Thanks.
