Dynamic Image Generation

Hello,

Not sure if there has already been discussion of this on previous threads
but this is sort of a throw back to an earlier post. Can anyone make a
recommendation about a software system for generating dynamic images? Site
will consist of online coupons that need to be controlled via a bar coding
system or something similar to regulate distribution and allow customers to
select a design template, enter coupon information and upload a logo - -must
be pretty much an automated process (with a final approval stage before it
goes live the next day). Essentially each site user would have an online
booklet consisting of current advertisers whose coupons can be printed once
per campaign.

Need to figure out the pros/cons of building vs licencing.

Any advice would be appreciated.
