This is a repeat of a post I sent to HWG-Basics (slightly edited to add
additional clarity), so if you've seen it before, sorry, but I am hoping
that somebody somewhere has an answer<sniff>
--------------
I'm putting together a multi-page form for work with default values in the
text fields. Users have to press insert on the keyboard to switch insert
modes and overwrite the data (otherwise they have to manually delete the
value and enter the new value--boss hates this). The issue is this: IE
switches back after they go to the second page. Anybody know of anyway I can
make overwrite the default condition, some HTML code or script piece? At
this point I'm annoyed with my own form and having to hit that Insert
key....
(I keep on hoping that it is something simple and stupid that I am missing)
Help!
and
TIA
-Andrew
