WinInetby "Mike Taylor" <lonewolf(at)one.net> |

I'm trying to work with an alliance of ours who wants us to use their content management system to post files on their server. While we can FTP these manually, we'd rather incorporate the process into our existing web-based admin screen we'd developed using ASP pages, written in VBScript. The alliance indicated to us that it would be possible to FTP our files via our admin page if we developed something in conjunction with WinInet, components of which are apparently already available on our NT server. The goal here is to programmatically upload the file to their site. Once it is uploaded, their system returns an XML string that we could then parse. My hang-up is how to FTP using WinInet. I'm not finding too much available on this topic in terms of how you'd access WinInet via ASP. Has anyone done this before? I'm hoping it's as easily accessible as ADO. Thanks, Mike
