I had a similar question on another forum.

Does response.cookies("mycookie").domain="myserver.com"  create one cookie
for both www.myserver.com and myserver.com (in other words, do two cookies
still get created if the user doesn't type "www" in front of the domain?
Some servers are set up to recognize both.
