Hello,
Is it possible to access a MS Access database from another server? It may
sound weird, but I have ASP (via Chilisoft) on one server (with no MS Access
DB) where our main web site is but I want to read/write to a MS Access DB
via ODBC/DSN located on another server we have set up as sort of an
auxillary account until it runs out in a few months.
I don't want users to see the URL changing back and forth between sites. Is
this even possible or will it be a coding nightmare/security issue? I have
to connect via a connection string -
new_account.ActiveConnection = "dsn=dsnname;uid=userid;pwd=password;"
Thanks,
Jeff P.
