Re: Dynamic Image GenerationJust to clarify a few things in regards to some
replies to my question (thanks for the great suggestions already though!);

I need a solution that I can use on a shared hosting plan with an ISP - I
don't have my own web server. I am really just looking to have the text for
the coupon description, titles, etc pulled from the database and printed
directly on a web page with a simple border with a logo supplied by the
customer to our specified dimensions and file type.

I would use ASP since the site currently uses this technology and is what I
am most comfortable with. I am not too familiar with GD Library but it seems
to talk of PNG files a lot - are gifs possible? Do I need this level of
dynamics? Regarding the use of an MD5 hash embedded in the coupon - I'm not
too sure on what you mean, exactly. How easy is it for the staff at say some
restaurant or burger joint to tell if the coupon is legit and not a
duplicate from the same guy the night before? That is the big dilemma. It
has to be simple for staff to easily understand yet strong enough to prevent
abuse - am I asking too much?

Cheers,

Jeff
