Perl Builder and line-feeds on apacheby "Mary Alward" <maryalward(at)earthlink.net> |

UntitledI have a simple cgi script created on Perl Builder that fails on a new host with "The page cannot be displayed". This same script ran ok on another Unix host (don't know the server type). I ran it through a perl validator on a different unix-apache host and there were no errors. I also use Perl Builder for many cgi scripts on another site with an apache server. The host in question says my cgi script will not run because my editor puts line-feeds which apache servers don't like. They demonstrated this to me by sending me a jpg of the cgi file (I don't know how) which shows squares where the line feeds are. I have emailed Perl Builder and have not received a reply in 2 days. Do any of you have any experience with this problem? Advice? Mary Alward
