REBOL - what happened to it?

Hi,

There was great hype surrounding REBOL (www.rebol.com) a few years back.
What happened? As far as I know I can't see people using it at all?

Do any of you use (used)it? What do you make of it? Or do we write it down
as one more failed attempt? I recently saw an ad for a project to be
developed using REBOL, and that sort of made me realize that maybe this
isn't as dead as I thought!

What about Python? Is that a favourite with anybody here?

P.S. Sorry I haven't been too active on the list lately, too many things
happening at the moment. My Master's in computing is nearing completion and
I'm having to put in long hours :) .
