Apache/Linux with windows98

Hello All,

Having had a recent major malfunction 
of my PC, I now have a pretty clear disk
and would like to take the opportunuty to
to install something like a linux o/s with 
Apache server software and of course 
perl, Whilst still keeping my windows 98
system environment.

The main goal is to be able emulate an 
apache server and see things from its point 
of view from my PC. Also perhaps to be
able to run server side programs for linux
etc etc.

If anyone has such a setup and is happy with
it I would very much like to hear from them 
about setting it up, and any tips aswell etc.
