Yes, among other things you most likely would not want to receive. Of
course, if you do, and your email program goes berserk, the authors of your
email program might (again) assure you that it was not their fault, that
although it was their software that actually may have wrecked havoc, that
(again) it was some ~malicious email sender~ that was actually at fault.

No, there is nothing in this security exposure that shouldn't be evident
from a perusal of the MHTML protocols... so we've a design issue here
(whether deliberate or clueless I'll leave to your opinion) when they
decided to facilitate such pathology.

No Java need be involved, although JavaScript (and likely Java) can
probably be used, or as the ~big bad wolf~ might have assured ~Little Red
Riding Hood~, it is ~the better to bleep you over, my dear.~

But, heck, it's your computer, the risks are hardly secret, so if you
choose to enjoy, go for it.

Due to the serious insecurity issues associated with some
absurdly-vulnerable client software products, I'll suggest that cook-book
instructions are best not discussed on this list (as well as being at best
marginally-related).
