If you've already got a JVM installed (eg Sun's JDK or JRE) then I 
would use Tomcat (http://jakarta.apache.org) which is a pure Java 
solution.  This takes some configuration, but it should work on any 
Java-enabled platform.

I use Professional JSP from Wrox (but then, my department bought 
that for me -- so I didn't have to pay for it :o)  ).  Again, the Java 
forum on the Javasoft site is really useful for asking questions.
