Greetings;
 I realize this may be off topic, but people on this list have probably 
run across a similar situation before and I'm wondering if anyone 
has a solution.

 I need to update files, specifically insert one line of code into every 
file of a modestly large website (roughly 600+ pages). My choices 
are to either not update the files, or to hand load each file into my 
editor (firstpage2000) and update each file manually. There has to 
be a better way of performing these updates, some automatic 
mechanism which allows you to insert a single line into a specific 
spot in a file. 

 If anyone has any ideas about how to accomplish this, I'd like to 
hear about them please.
