Finding number of radio buttons on a form with JS

Hi folks,
I have an HTML form with a number of radio buttons on it grouped in 
choices of 'yes' and 'no' along with some other form elements.  Is 
there any way to count how many groups of radio buttons that I have 
(ie how many yes/no options that there are)?
