Hi;
I would like to write a span tag that only comes into being on a mouse-over
event. It would look similar to having a pop-up onMouseOver, but it would
be written as a span class (layer) in the existing window (as opposed to
generating a new window). I know that once a document is written, it cannot
be appended in standard JavaScript, but I have heard that such things are
possible with IE's Extended Object Model (ExOM). Since this part of the
script doesn't have to be compliant with NN4.x (I have an adequate
work-around), I'd like to know how it's done. I *don't*, however, want to
be forced to work with MS proprietary languages, such as JScript, VBScript
or ActiveX. Am I up in the night, or can this be done, and if so, please
advise me how and direct me to resources.
TIA,
BenO
