I have a welcome page that preloads many of the graphics that are used on
the main "Home Page" of my site (using Javascript). So when someone hits the
entry page first, then the Home page, the Home page "pops" right away. (Case
One.)

The problem is that I also have to preload many of the same graphics on the
Home page (for the mouseOvers) if someone enters my site directly at the
Home Page. (Case Two.)

What this means is that, in Case One, the browser goes through the motions
of preloading all the images a second time when it is not necessary.

Is there a way with Javascript to check for pre-loaded images and then, for
Case One, NOT preload them a second time?
