I'd like to explore using more robust field validation on my forms than I do
now. At the moment, I use a basic javascript that checks for empty required
fields and does some basic email address validation. 

What I'm looking for is the ability to have input masks for some data,
better email checking (a way to determine a valid vs. fake email address),
and anything else that can both validate entries and help to guard against
malicious code input via forms.

Any advice, links, code, appreciated.
