Yes, for javascript enabled browsers, you could use a linked javascript file
that did a bunch of document.write's to include the text. But if you were
making your page accessible to those without javascript, you'd have to
repeat that code in a noscript section anyway, which would defeat the
purpose.
The link code would look like:
<script language="JavaScript" src="path-to/js_file.js"></script>

Is Javascript capable of doing an "include" in the same way that SSI does?
For example, rather than doing <!--#include virtual="file" --> is there a
way of making the client do the include such as with JavaScript?
