i personally have never been able to get nn to give me a border using
stylesheets, and i gave up trying quite a while ago.  indeed, the closest
i've come is when i put a border on a text field and got a tiny little
square underneath the field (example at
http://www.nerdygirl.com/fun.html)...

hopefully, you'll have more luck than me (and then teach me how to do it!)
at any rate, i highly recommend checking out the compatibility chart at
http://webreview.com/wr/pub/guides/style/mastergrid.html.  you may find your
answer there...

You must have read my mind. :)

After not being able to get it to work I removed the div and applied the
style to the TD definition.

I am sure Peter Benoit would be happy... ;)

Now my next question is this:

If I have <td width="100%" valign="top" style="border: solid thin #cecece;
background-color: #eeeeee"> I do not get the border drawn in NN.  Any clues
why or, more importantly, how I get them to be drawn?  In IE they show up
no problem.
