With the SSH Secure Shell (www.ssh.com) I can connect to all of my servers
via the "Outbound Tunnel" feature -- and use whatever telnet application I
want (Symantec's Procomm for me).
SSH Secure Shell has a nifty file transfer system built into it, as well as
the ability to tunnel FTP sessions too. The terminal app built into it
isn't bad either, but I love Procomm.
Give it a try. It's over at
ftp://ftp.ssh.com/pub/ssh/SSHWinClient-3.0.0.exe
If you're a creature of habit, like I am, then you'll be happy you don't
have to give up the telnet app you're used to.
