RAID - PERC - DELL

Hi Again,

One more question, we are running a Dell 1400SC with a PERC3 (AMI) RIAD 5
controller, connected to 3 18GIG SCSI 10k disks.

Dell shipps this with software to monitor the card and drive status, but
alas, the software only runs under Win2K etc.

I am running FreeBSD 4.4. FreeBSD supports these cards from an operating
standpoint, but I can't find any way to monitor or check the status of the
RAID functionality, i.e. make sure all three drives are OK and running, or
if there are problems with the card itself or one of the disks. Does anyone
know if BSD WILL let us know if problems occure with one or more of the
drives, or if there is software sonewhere to monitor them?
