Hi, all,
I do consulting for a small company that has 4 offices within a 50 mile
radius of each other. Today we discussed the possibility of creating an
Intranet for them. I already have a small peer-to-peer WinNT network at the
business office. I have a few questions that I was hoping some of you might
be able to share your experiences on.
1. What sort of service do I use to connect the different locations -
digital cable, ASDL, T1 line, etc???
2. I am assuming that I will need a router at each site in addition to the
network hub. Is there any other piece of hardware that I need?
3. Can I leave the existing peer-to-peer in place or will I need to upgrade
to an actual server (Windows) and set up a domain for the site?
I appreciate any and all help that I can get on this!!!
Thanks!
