You could use the 'mysqldump' command on the host.  This command will
create an output file that contains the table definition and the data in
a format that can be used to very easily recreate your structure.  I
don't have the url off the top of my head, but more can be found at
mysql.com

I need some expert assistance with getting a Linux laptop server set up

MySQL.  MySQL is installed, we created a database.  We're trying to
re-create a
web-based MySQL database that is already in existence.  On the web
server, the
MySQL server was already set up, so now we don't want to have to
re-create all

Is there any way to copy the database and tables from the web server to

laptop and ready it for use?

We're using the laptop as a localhost kiosk to duplicate the client's
online web
store without having to have connectivity, but this project has been a
REAL
BEAR, and I've got to have it ready for use THIS FRIDAY!

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
