What error message do you get in the event log?
Microsoft PSS article Q102989 (available online at MSoft knowledge base (KB)
they keep changing the address - it was http://support.microsoft.com - if
not just go to the main site and search) gives you the registry keys to
change buffer settings but this is not always the real problem.
If its a multiprocessor box, you may need latest SP. You may be able to find
more on the KB
